1. Refer other businesses

Existing customers earn a one-time 20% reward.

  1. Find your referral link. Log in to your Hesalio dashboard, open Refer & earn in the menu, and copy your unique referral link and code.
  2. Share with other business owners. Send your link by WhatsApp, email, social media or in person. When they sign up using your link, they are tracked as your referral.
  3. Earn when they pay. Once your referred business pays its first subscription invoice, you earn 20% of that first invoice amount, as a one-time reward. If their first invoice is KSh 2,999, you earn KSh 600.
  4. Get paid. Rewards accumulate in your account once Hesalio has checked them. We pay monthly by M-Pesa or bank transfer once your approved balance reaches KSh 1,000; smaller balances carry forward. Add your payout details on the Refer & earn page.

Who can refer, and the rules

  • Any business on a paid Hesalio plan (Essential, Growth or Scale).
  • You must have an active paid account when your referral pays their first invoice.
  • Rewards are one-time only, based on the first paid invoice.
  • No rewards for free-only accounts, self-referrals or fake accounts.
  • Hesalio may suspend rewards in cases of fraud or policy abuse.

2. Become a Hesalio reseller

Accounting firms and partners earn 30% for 12 months.

  1. Apply to join. Fill out the reseller application form below, or apply from Refer & earn if you are already a customer. Tell us about your firm, your clients and how you plan to use Hesalio. You need a Hesalio account to receive a reseller link, so create a free account with your work email first if you do not have one.
  2. Get approved and onboarded. Once approved, you receive a unique reseller link and code, and access to partner resources: training, onboarding guides and sales materials.
  3. Sell and support customers. Use your link when onboarding new clients, and help them with initial setup (accounts, stock, eTIMS setup), training their team and day-to-day usage questions.
  4. Earn every month for 12 months. You earn 30% of each customer's monthly subscription fee, every month for 12 months, as long as they stay active and paying. A customer on KSh 2,999 a month generates KSh 900 a month for you.
  5. Track your rewards and get paid. Your Refer & earn page shows the active customers under your reseller ID, the monthly fee per customer, your 30% share and your total reward, along with your payout history. Payouts are made monthly by M-Pesa or bank transfer.

  • Escalate product bugs and complex issues to Hesalio.

Frequently asked

When do I get paid?+

Referral and reseller rewards are paid monthly, once Hesalio has checked them and your approved balance reaches KSh 1,000. Smaller balances carry forward to the next month. Reseller rewards are based on active paying customers.

Can I be both a referrer and a reseller?+

Yes. Your existing customers can refer other businesses (20% one-time), while your firm can also be an approved reseller (30% for 12 months) for clients you actively sell to and support.

What if my referred customer cancels?+

Referral: you still keep the one-time reward from their first invoice. Reseller: rewards stop when the customer cancels or stops paying.

Can I refer my own other businesses?+

No. Self-referrals and related entities are not eligible.

How do I track my rewards?+

Everything is on the Refer & earn page in your Hesalio dashboard: referrals, reseller customers with their monthly fee and the months left in the 12-month window, your rewards and your payouts.

Do you handle taxes on rewards?+

Rewards are subject to applicable taxes. Partners are responsible for their own tax compliance. Your Refer & earn page keeps a record of every reward and payout for your records.
