Hesalio is one system for running a business in Kenya. You send it your receipts, invoices and payments, from WhatsApp, M-Pesa, your till or a photo. Hesalio reads them, checks the figures and uses them to keep your stock, sales, purchases, payroll, books and tax up to date. Everything comes from the same checked record, so nothing is typed twice and every number can be traced to the document behind it.

Questions people ask first.

Is Hesalio only for Kenya?+

Hesalio is built in Nairobi and works in Kenya today, including KRA eTIMS, VAT, PAYE and M-Pesa. It is designed to grow to other African countries, but those are not available yet.

Do I need to know accounting?+

No. Hesalio keeps your books for you from the records you send, in plain language. If you have an accountant, they can use the full ledger and reports.

Can I keep using QuickBooks, Zoho or my till?+

Yes. Hesalio can run alongside them and check the same activity, or you can run your whole business on Hesalio alone. See both ways to use it.

Will the AI change my records on its own?+

No. The AI reads documents, suggests categories, answers questions and prepares routine work, and it shows how sure it is. Anything doubtful goes to a person. It never moves money or files tax on its own: payments and filings always need a person's approval. Low-risk tasks such as payment reminders run on their own only if an owner turns that on.

What if something is read wrongly?+

You can correct it. A correction never overwrites the original: Hesalio keeps both and shows the history, so there is always a clear trail.

What does it cost?+

There is a free plan, with no card needed. Paid plans start at KSh 1,499 a month. Compare plans.

Who can see my business data?+

You, and the people on your team you give access to, each limited by their role. A bank or other institution only sees what you approve, for as long as you choose. How sharing works.

Can I use it on my phone?+

Yes. Hesalio works in your phone browser, can be installed like an app, and accepts documents sent by WhatsApp.
