This Privacy Policy explains what information Hesalio collects when you use our platform, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors, registered users and businesses using Hesalio's records, intelligence, compliance and trade features.

Information we collectAccount details, business records you submit, usage data and information needed for compliance and financial features. When you pay for a plan, we also keep the amount, payment reference, receipt number and status.
How we use itTo operate the platform, verify business records, generate financial and compliance intelligence, and provide customer support.
Data sharingWe do not sell personal data. Data may be shared with integration partners or institutions only where you've authorized it.
Payment providersCard and M-Pesa phone-prompt payments for your Hesalio plan are processed by Paystack, and M-Pesa transactions run on Safaricom's network. To take a payment we send them the amount, a payment reference and your email address, plus your M-Pesa phone number for a phone prompt. Card numbers are entered on Paystack's secure page and never reach Hesalio. We keep a record of each payment, each refund and any message a provider sends us about them, for accounting and to resolve disputes.
Data retentionWe retain business and account data for as long as your account is active or as required for compliance obligations.
Your rightsYou may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, subject to applicable law and our compliance obligations.
Learning from your correctionsWhen you fix a value on a scanned record, Hesalio keeps the corrected value (never the vendor's name) to suggest better next time. If you tick "share" after marking an AI answer not helpful, the question and answer are kept with customer and supplier names and phone numbers removed. Both are kept for 12 months, only for your business, and removed if the customer concerned is erased.
