Sharing with banks
Your data. Your permission.
A bank, regulator or insurer never gets open access to your records. They ask for specific information, you approve exactly what is shared and for how long, and you can stop it at any time.
Access granted
You can stop sharing at any time from your own dashboard. Equity Bank doesn't need to do anything.
What's next
Limited sharing today. Direct bank connections next.
The same permission system will later let banks, insurers and lenders connect to Hesalio directly, so each one doesn't have to build its own way of collecting business data. Accounting firms, SACCOs and trade associations help businesses join. Banks, insurers and development finance institutions use the checked data that businesses choose to share.
How it works
Four steps, and you are in control of each.
- 1A bank or lender asksIt requests specific information, such as monthly revenue, not your whole books.
- 2You see exactly what is askedThe request lists what would be shared and what would not.
- 3You approve, with an end dateAccess covers only what you choose and ends on the date you set.
- 4You can stop at any timeOwners and admins can see every time the institution looked, and can revoke access at any time.
Sharing with banks and lenders is available on the Scale plan and above. See plans.
