Accounting and bookkeeping firms

Start from records that have already been checked.

Hesalio captures each receipt, invoice and payment, reads it, checks it and only then posts it, so a client’s books arrive with less to fix.

What it covers

For the accountant and the client.

A firm can be given access to several businesses and switch between them.

01

Records with an audit trail

Each record shows its source file, the fields read from it, who verified, corrected or voided it and what changed. Records that need a person are queued instead of posted.

02

Bank and M-Pesa matching

Import statements, match payments to invoices and bills, and keep a list of matches you rejected so they are not suggested again.

03

Many clients, set roles

Give an accountant access to a client business, or several. The roles are owner, admin, accountant, compliance officer, staff and a read-only auditor who can read but never change.

04

Tax dates and month-end

A tax calendar with PAYE, VAT, NSSF, SHIF and withholding dates and email reminders if the business switches them on, month-end checks and reports.

Apps to switch on

Choose only what you use.

  • Records
  • Accounting
  • Match payments
  • Tax calendar
  • Withholding tax
  • Payroll

Hesalio asks a few questions when you sign up and turns on the apps that fit. You can change them any time on the Apps page, and your team sees only the apps their role allows.
