Schools and non-profits

The school’s money in order: fees in, bills out, staff paid.

Hesalio is the business side of a school: the fees invoiced and paid, what the school buys, what it owes, who it pays and the tax dates it must meet.

What it covers

For the bursar and the board.

It does not manage the classroom side.

01

Fees invoiced and matched

Invoice fees with part payments, so each invoice shows what is still owed. M-Pesa and bank payments are matched to the invoice they pay and a person confirms anything unsure.

02

Spending and suppliers

Bills from suppliers from a photo or a file, purchase orders for food, books and supplies, and stock counts for the store.

03

Staff pay and statutory dates

Payroll for teaching and support staff, with PAYE, NSSF, SHIF and housing levy dates on the tax calendar.

04

Budgets and reports

A budget for the year compared with what was spent, reports for the board, and the equipment and buildings the school owns in a fixed-asset register.

It does not collect feesParents pay by M-Pesa or bank as they do now. Hesalio matches those payments to invoices.
