Supermarkets and mini-markets

Stock, expiry and the day’s numbers, without the spreadsheet.

Hesalio gives a supermarket one record of what came in, what sold, what expired and what you owe.

What it covers

The back office of a busy shop.

It sits behind the till rather than replacing it.

01

Batches, expiry and first-expiry-first-out

Goods are received with a batch number and expiry date. Sales and write-offs draw the earliest-expiring batch first, expired stock is written off with a reason, and a second person can be required to approve larger write-offs.

02

A daily stock report and counts

See what moved on a given day, for one branch or all of them, and apply stock counts with the reason for each difference. ABC classification shows which products carry most of your sales.

03

Reorders and suppliers

Reorder levels per branch, lead times, purchase orders drafted from what is low, and a warning when a supplier’s price jumps. Returns to a supplier are recorded too.

04

Payments, tax and payroll

M-Pesa and bank payments matched to what they pay for, eTIMS invoices for business customers, VAT on the tax calendar and payroll for the floor and till staff.
